Application Support Analyst
The Application Support Analyst is also responsible for service
restoration, the daily maintenance of applications and minor
enhancements of application systems.
We are looking for individuals that are innovative and creative,
demonstrate problem solving/judgment skills, be collaborative and are
able to work well in a Team environment. You must have excellent
listening skills, be highly responsive and have a customer service
orientation.
Application Systems Maintenance and Support
Responsibility for 2nd level application support including the
activities required to support, maintain, enhance, and configure
applications systems
Competence in ITIL processes
Perform incident handling, service restoration, documentation, problem
identification, logging and tracking, troubleshooting, resolution, and
escalations as required
Interface with vendors for technical support
Escalate unresolved issues to 3rd level support
Knowledge and Skills
University degree, College Diploma, or equivalent relevant experience
Technical background with proven trouble shooting skills
Strong organization and analytical skills with excellent attention to
details
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to work independently.
Provide periodic after-hours support
Technical Knowledge
We have several positions to fill that use the one or more of the
following technologies:
Java, MS .Net, Unix, Tibco Portal, LiveLink, Microsoft SharePoint
Server, Ruby on Rails, Crystal Reports, PowerBuilder, PVR, ArcServer
(GIS)
