Description


As part of the EAI team you will support business processes, systems,
and users by applying knowledge of information technology (IT)
disciplines. You will be responsible providing technical support for
Middleware and Application Integration technologies.

 The EAI team is currently responsible for the middleware and all
existing interfaces that enable the integration of Procter & Gamble's
(P&G) applications both within P&G's landscape as well as with external
business partners.

 Candidates will apply a broad skill set of technologies and
applications in this role including:  Networking, PERL, J2EE,
Oracle/SQL, Middleware, UNIX, Windows, etc. and expect to build a core
competence in a specific technology set while in this role.

 Collaboration and effective communication skills are essential to this
role as team mates are located in Cincinnati, Ohio - USA, San Jose -
Costa Rica and Manila - Philippines.

 · Works under supervision of technical lead and with customer nominated
representatives to accomplish assigned tasks.

 · Acts professionally with HP customers. Participates as part of a team
and maintains good relationships with team members and customers.

 · Understands HP's strategy. Is aware of knowledge tools and their
application.

 · Participates in chosen technical community or profession, and
regularly attends profession or community of interest events. Focuses on
single customer. Contributes via assigned tasks on specific projects.


Qualifications


Education and Experience Required:

 Your profile

 A Must:


     * Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science,
       Electronics and Communications Engineering or equivalent
       experience

     * Experience on Enterprise OSs (ranging from Microsoft Windows
       Servers to UNIX systems - Linux, Solaris, AIX, HP-UX)

     * Must have good customer handling, communication and
       documentation skills

     * Candidate must be solutions oriented and demonstrate effective
       problem solving skills

     * Proactive and Team work oriented

     * SAP knowledge

     * Strong written and verbal English skills (at least 85%)



A Plus:


     * Work experience in a "middleware" environment. Additionally,
       familiarity with SAP, EDI technologies  and Service Oriented
       Architecture (SOA).

     * Experience on Networking

     * Familiarity with ITIL Service Management processes and concepts

     * Experience with HP Service Manager
