características abajo descritas:

Systems Engineer
NeuStar, Inc. is seeking a Professional Services Engineer to support the
Numbering Solutions product offerings within its Carrier Services Group. The
Professional Services Engineer will collaborate with sales, customer support
and customers in a post-sales role to execute tasks within Professional
Services project implementations

 Reporting to the Manager of Professional Services, Professional Services
Engineers are expected to provide professional services to new and existing
customers. Examples of these services include software installation,
application configuration, functional site testing, load testing, license
integration projects, data migrations, process & procedure adaptations,
ticketing & operations integration, training and documentation generation.
Other services offered by the Professional Services team include collaboration
on custom development initiatives to interact with the NeuStar Carrier
Services product lines. Job tasks for this position also include RFP/RFI
response assistance, input on future product requirements and providing
assistance/guidance to the Sales Engineering organization when necessary.

Professional Services Engineers must have great written and oral communication
skills, and broad technical skills within general telecommunications
infrastructure and the OSS IT environment. The ideal candidate will possess
the ability to comprehend business requirements and help customers determine
the best way to deploy NeuStars services to meet those requirements. The
ability to collaborate and simultaneously lead multiple deployments and/or
projects is vital to the success of a Professional Services Engineer.

The majority of business will be conducted via phone and online tools such as
Webex. Some travel will be necessary and is estimated at 25% overall, with
some periods of little to no travel, interspersed with some periods of heavy
travel.

An additional requirement for staff in the CALA area is bi-lingual fluency in
both Spanish and English.
*  Bachelor's Degree with Computer Science or Information Technology degree
preferred.
*  2+ years of experience in a customer facing role in the OSS field.
*   Experience with multiple organizations OSS architectures.
*  Experience with load testing or automated testing solutions
*  Highly motivated self-starter with strong initiative - ability to work well
both independently and in as a team member.
*  Strong decision maker who thinks on his or her feet.
*  Intermediate Customer Technical Support Skills (past experience a plus).
*  Intermediate Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Visio) Skills.
*  Willing to travel 25% of the time, including international (Mexico, Panama,
Europe, Africa, Asia)

Technical Skills
*  Advanced comprehension of network architecture and various platforms (Unix,
Linux, Windows, Mainframe, etc.) and how those platforms interoperate with
carrier OSS.
*  Experience with TN Address Management
*  Experience with IP Address Management (IPAM)
*  Intermediate experience with UNIX administration.
*  Basic programming ability in at least one of the following languages (ksh,
awk, Perl).
*  Some experience with Java or C++
